The main components of the Newton Membrane System 500 are the membranes themselves. Newton Membrane ranges from 1mm- 20mm stud depths. All of the Newton membranes are designed to create different volumes of ‘Air gap’ or ‘drainage capacity’, the larger this capacity the more water they are able to control.
Newton Membrane 501: 1mm slimline floor membrane designed primarily to isolate moisture sensitive flooring from dampness in a slab. The Newton Membrane is joined with Newton Waterseal Tape.
Newton 503:3mm studded membrane, available with or without mesh, designed as a low profile floor or wall membrane. Mainly used in a damp proofing situation where water ingress is minimal and you are dealing with salt contamination in the substrate. The Newton membrane is fixed with either Newton Newlath plugs or Newton Multi Plugs.
Newton membrane 508: 8 mm studded Newton membrane, available with or without mesh, designed for use on the wall or the floor. Newton 508 is mainly used in basement waterproofing where water ingress is expected or prevalent. The Newton Membrane is fixed with either the Newton Nu-seal Plug seal with Newton Water Seal Rope or the Newton Multi Plug.
